The details
Please join us for our ceremony at All Saints Church, Baschurch, SY4 2GD.
We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone has plenty of time to find a seat before we say “I do”.
Parking near the church may be limited, so please allow a little extra time when planning your journey. Where possible, we recommend car sharing with other guests.
After the ceremony, celebrations continue at Rowton Castle, SY5 9EP.
Please plan your travel between the church and reception in advance, especially if you are arranging taxis. Parking is available at the Castle.
Formal attire — dress to celebrate.
As this is a November wedding, we recommend dressing warmly and choosing something comfortable for the season. Our bridal party will be wearing burnt orange and navy blue, so feel free to choose colours that complement an autumn wedding palette. Most Importantly, wear something you can dance in.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we are genuinely just excited to celebrate with you.
However, if you would like to give a gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution towards our future together. Whether that helps us with our honeymoon, our home, or making new memories as husband and wife, it would mean so much to us.
Please don’t feel any pressure — sharing the day with you is what matters most.
Rooms will be available at Rowton Castle on the night of the wedding, with rates ranging from £99–£209 per night, including breakfast.

Bed and breakfast accommodation is also available at Rowton Barns, which is just a short walk from the castle — around 6–7 minutes on foot, or approximately 1 minute by car.

There are also plenty of lovely hotels, inns and guest houses in and around Shrewsbury. We recommend looking online and booking as early as possible.

Our story
Our story began during lockdown 1.
What started as online movie dates soon turned into a long-distance relationship, lockdown 2, surviving a one bedroom flat, upgrading to a home together, our cat Moxley, one theatrical proposal, and dreams of a beautiful future side by side.
After living through the strangest of times, we quickly realised we had found something truly special.
We have learned that love is not only found in the big moments, but also in the small, everyday ones — the laughter, the comfort, the support, especially during Laura's long hours during production week, and Dan's long hours playing football manager. All the little things that make life sweeter.
Surrounded by the people we care about most, we are so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together.
